Simple and peaceful guest accommodation at Samudra Retreats Gozo in a traditional stone house.

Your stay unfolds across our three rustic farmhouses, each over 400 years old, nestled in the slow-moving south-coast village of il-Qala.

Each room offers a simple, comfortable sanctuary, with air-conditioning and a private en-suite bathroom. Some rooms open onto sea views, private terraces, or balconies, inviting moments of quiet presence throughout the day. Every farmhouse has its own private pool with sun loungers, offering space to rest, soften, and unwind between sessions.

Accommodation options include double rooms for single or shared occupancy, as well as twin rooms for shared stays. Twin rooms can be booked by friends attending the retreat together.

When a double room is shared by a couple, a 10% reduction is applied to the combined two single-person retreat rate.

Akasha is our largest deluxe double room, located on the top floor of Ta Kemmuna Farmhouse. With an extra large private sun terrace you will enjoy vast breathtaking views of the Blue Lagoon, Comino Island and the surrounding wild nature. Designed with a rustic traditional farmhouse feel, providing plenty of space for your own comfort and relaxation.

To reach the Sky Room, you are led up an outdoor traditional farmhouse staircase at the back of the house, that is detached from the common area. Each morning you can enjoy the sun rising directly from the horizon with the East facing unobstructed sea views, right from the doorstep of the room.

This room is ideal for those who enjoy early mornings, connecting to nature and silence.

You will stay in Ta Kemmuna Farmhouse where you can enjoy the common areas that include a living room, kitchen, underground meditation cave and a small pool with a terrace.

Sundara is a deluxe double room, located on the top floor of Il Pomo Bianco Farmhouse. Its sea view terrace has stunning, unobstructed views of Comino Island, the Blue Lagoon and the surrounding countryside. As the only room on this floor, you will enjoy peace and comfort in your own sanctuary.

This is a private room for one person with an en-suite bathroom. The room has a double bed, an indoor lounge area, and an outdoor sofa on the private terrace overlooking the breathtaking countryside and sea views. This room is the most private in the house, situated on its own private floor.

You will be staying in Il Pomo Bianco Farmhouse, our largest Samudra farmhouse. The farmhouse has four double bedroom and one twin bedroom set across three floors. With stunning south-facing, sea and island views, a pool with a backdrop of farmers fields, a dedicated dining room, an indoor and two outdoor relaxing lounge areas for socialising.

Pomo Bianco has been recently renovated in Feb 2025 with the intention to create a space for community. The house has a large kitchen where the chefs prepare our Mediterranean inspired menu, served over our large dining tables where we gather together morning and evening for meal times. With the house providing so much space, guests can find many areas to lounge and relax in either by the pool, on the rooftop terrace or in the cosy living area. Pomo Bianco is so much more than a retreat accomodation, it is a family home designed to make you feel nurtured where you can truly slow down and relax.

This is a private room for one person, with a double bed and an en-suite. The room features a private outdoor terrace with an outdoor sofa to enjoy the serene views of the countryside and the sea.

You will stay in Ta Rosina Farmhouse, within 50 metres of our Shala, featuring breathtaking views of Comino Island, The Blue Lagoon and the surrounding nature. Offering its own large private pool and comfortable living spaces. Designed with rustic features paired with modern elegance.

The farmhouse has three double bedrooms set across two floors, two of which have their own private sea facing terraces and one having a terrace facing towards the front of the house. On the ground floor is an open kitchen and dining area with doors that lead to the communal terrace, bbq and pool area that overlook the sea.

Venus is one of our twin rooms, located on the ground floor of Ta Kemmuna Farmhouse. The room is situated right next to the pool area, with a door that opens out to the communal terrace. The pool terrace boasts unobstructed views of the surrounding countryside and sea, overlooking Comino Island and The Blue Lagoon. The fields behind the pool terrace are filled with wild plants, cactus, carob and fig trees. You can watch the sunrise directly from here, enjoying the peaceful serene nature.

This is the oldest room in the house, displaying traditional Maltese tiles and high ceilings. Designed with a rustic farmhouse feel, providing comfort and tranquility.

You will stay in a shared bedroom with two single bed’s and an en-suite bathroom, sharing with one other person.
